• An armed robbery occurred at the Salon G, 316 Main Street in Gaithersburg, on Monday 1/30 around 7:50 pm.  The suspect displayed a weapon and obtained property.

Suspect: B/M 20-30 years, 5’8’ to 5’9”, 160-180, black mask, all black clothing

• A residential burglary occurred in the 800 block of Diamond Drive in Gaithersburg sometime between Thursday 1/26 and Sunday 1/29.  Unforced entry; property taken.

R1 Beat:

• A residential burglary occurred in the unit block of Whetstone Drive in Gaithersburg on Wednesday 1/25 just before midnight.  Forced entry; nothing taken.

• A commercial burglary occurred at the Wok Express, 9615 Lost Knife Road in Gaithersburg, between Thursday 1/26 at 11 pm and Friday 1/27 at 10:30 am.  Forced entry; property taken.

R2 Beat:

• A strong-arm robbery occurred in the 8600 block of Hawk Run Terrace in Montgomery Village on Thursday 1/26 around 7:20 pm.  The suspect forcefully removed the victim’s property.

Suspect: B/M 5’6”, 160, all black clothing

• An attempted armed robbery occurred in the 19900 block of Spur Hill Drive in Montgomery Village on Thursday 1/26 around 6:50 pm.  The suspect threatened the victim with a weapon and unsuccessfully attempted to obtain property.

Suspect: B/M 20-30 years, 5’9” to 5’10”, red sweatshirt under a dark grey coat

• Thefts from the construction area at the Gaithersburg Library, 18330 Montgomery Village Ave in Gaithersburg, occurred twice during this reporting frame.  Overnight between Thursday 1/26 and Friday 1/27, property was taken from outside the library.  Then between Friday 1/27 and Monday 1/30, property was taken from a storage box. 

S1 Beat:

• A commercial burglary occurred at Sam’s Pizza, 16523 South Frederick Avenue in Gaithersburg, on Friday 1/27 around 4 am.  Forced entry; property taken.

Suspect: Male, green ball cap, green sweatshirt, blue jeans

• An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 9100 block of Emory Woods Terrace in Gaithersburg on Monday 1/30 around 8:30 am.  Attempted forced entry; nothing taken.        

S2 Beat:

• A residential burglary occurred in the 19400 block of Torran Rocks Terrace in Gaithersburg between Friday 1/27 at 8 pm and Saturday 1/28 at 7 am.  Forced entry; property taken.

• An armed robbery occurred at the Dollar Deal, 18238 Flower Hill Way in Gaithersburg, on Sunday 1/29 around 10:30 am.  The suspect threatened the victim with a weapon and obtained property.

Suspect: B/M 30 years, 5’8” to 5’9”, 160-180, mustache & beard, grey sweater, dark blue pajama-type pants
