Crime Summary: Robberies, Aggravated Assault

The following arrest information was supplied by the Montgomery County Police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

 

P1 Beat:

  • Three thefts from vehicles occurred between 1/16 – 1/22 in this beat.  Vehicles on School Drive, Canfield Hill Drive, and the Rio Mall garage in Gaithersburg were affected.  Doors were left unlocked.

 

P2 Beat:

  • A commercial robbery occurred at the Ohair Salon & Spa, 424 Main Street in Gaithersburg, on Wednesday 1/18 around 7:40 p.m.  The suspect threatened the victims with a weapon and obtained property.

Suspect: B/M 5’8” to 6’, 180-200 lbs.

  • A residential burglary occurred in the hundred block of Orchard Drive in Gaithersburg on Monday 1/23 between 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m.  Forced entry; property taken.

 

R1 Beat:

  • A residential burglary occurred in the unit block of Whetstone Drive in Montgomery Village between Friday 1/20 at 11 p.m. and Saturday 1/21 at 12:45 p.m.  Unknown entry; unknown if anything was taken.
  • An aggravated assault occurred along Rt. 355 near Lake Forest Mall in Gaithersburg on Friday 1/20 between 3 a.m. and 4:45 a.m.   The suspect assaulted the victim with a weapon.

Arrested:  Male, age 29, from Gaithersburg.

 

R2 Beat:

  • A robbery occurred in the 10000 block of Wedge Way in Gaithersburg on Saturday 1/21 around 3:20 pm.  The suspects assaulted the victim and obtained property.          

Suspect: 6/M 18-20, 5’6”, 160, mustache

Suspect: 6/M 18-20, 5’4”, black scarf over his face

Suspect: 6/M 18-20, 6’

  • A robbery occurred in the 9500 block of Briar Glenn Way in Gaithersburg on Saturday 1/21 around 8:35 p.m.  The suspects threatened the victim with a weapon and obtained property.

Suspect: 1/M 5’6” to 5’7”, 200, mustache, red tee shirt

Suspect: 1/M 5’8” black jacket, grey hoodie, red bandanna around his neck

Suspect: 1/M 6’1”, 130, black hoodie, blue bandanna

Suspect: 1/M 5’10”, 160-170, black jacket, black mask with eyeholes cut out

 

S1 Beat:

  • A burglary occurred at The Episcopal Church of the Ascension, 205 South Summit Avenue in Gaithersburg, on Wednesday 1/18 between 10 a.m. and 5:45 p.m.  Forced entry; nothing taken.
  • A residential burglary occurred in the 200 block of Rolling Road in Gaithersburg between Tuesday 1/17 at 1:30 p.m., and Wednesday 1/18 at 12:20 p.m.  Forced entry; unknown if anything was taken.

 

S2 Beat:

  • A strong-arm robbery occurred in the 17600 block of Sequoia Drive in Gaithersburg on Tuesday 1/24 just before 7 a.m.  The suspect assaulted the victim and obtained property.

Suspect: B/M, 23-27 years, 5’5” to 5’6”, mustache & beard, light skin, all black clothing
