Eating Across Gaithersburg (Week One): Voting Open
Readers vote for favorite local restaurant dishes in new weekly feature.
Readers nominated three dishes in the first week of Eating Across Gaithersburg, a new weekly series aiming to recognize culinary greatness in town.
Now, it's time to vote.
Choose one of the remaining nominated dishes in our poll below as the "best" dish in Gaithersburg; use the comments section to argue your case for people who might have a hard time deciding.
This week's choices:
- Pickled Tea Leaf Salad from Burma Road Restaurant, 617 S. Frederick Avenue
- Garithes Saganaki from Vasilis Mediterranean Grill, 353 Main Street
- Seaweed Infused Flounder from Pacifica Cafe, 621 Center Point Way
Voting will close at 11:59 p.m. Thursday, and a winner will be revealed Friday morning. Tune in next week to read our review of the dish, and, nominate another.

Manhattan Pizza. Less expensive and much better flavor than Vasilis.

The pad thai at Old Siam in Old Town Gaithersburg is still the best ever. We have tried them all for the last 20 years and they are the best at everything Thai
