Young Women Fight Over Pants, Arrested At Lakeforest's Body Central Store

Women in early 20s charged in brawl over last pants in their size.

Two women fighting over over the last pair of pants in their size were arrested and charged with assaulting each other Saturday afternoon at Lakeforest Mall's Body Central Store, Montgomery County police said.

Officers were called to the mall and found the two women punching each other and wrestling on the floor, police said. Officers were able to separate the two and place them in custody.

The suspects were identified by police as Andrea N. Williams, 22, of the 300 block of Amberfield Lane in Gaithersburg, and Ethelyn R. Gladney, 21, of the 20100 block of Loading Rock Place in Montgomery Village.

Approximately 25 people were in the store at the time of the fight, including friends and family of each of the females, police said.

Williams and Gladney were charged with second degree assault, disorderly conduct, failure to obey a reasonable and lawful order, and disturbing the peace, police said.

Both women were released on bond.

Additional units were dispatched to control the crowd and both suspects declined treatment from Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services.

Can they bulldoze the mall too soon? It attracts such a classy clientele.

How about bulldoze Mont. and PG counties? They are magnets for ghetto trash on welfare and illegal immigrants. There is no end in sight since the governments in both counties have no intentions of cracking down and following federal laws. Federal funding should be cut OFF to states/counties who do not follow the laws.

It's too bad about the mall. I feel the same way, Clark. I use to work for the Taubman Company marketing department at Lakeforest back in the day when it was well run, not bankrupt, family oriented and attracted a more well behaved (and older) clientele. Montgomery Village itself has changed significantly.

Clark, Olde Towne Gaithersburg is much worse than Lakeforest Mall when it comes to crime and it is deteriorating both economically and socially at a rapid rate. Why do you vehemently resist the revitalization of the Olde Towne area but you want to immediately "bulldoze" Lakeforest because of a fight?

Don't blame Lakeforest Mall too much; this sort of behavior can happen anywhere; there are a lot of good people who live in Gaithersburg of all whom would never act this way; we are living in a time where behavior like this is very shocking; these individuals are in desparate need of counselling; I only hope they received a stiff penalty for disturbing the peace!
