Gaithersburg-Area Students Arrested For Underage Drinking In Lakelands
Six girls from Quince Orchard High School and Frost Middle School were arrested for underage drinking in the woods in Gaithersburg's Lakelands neighborhood.
A group of six girls from Gaithersburg-area schools were arrested for underage drinking, according to a report by WUSA9.
Montgomery County Police received a tip that a group of minors were drinking alcohol in a wooded area of Gaithersburg's Lakelands community, the report states.
The girls, 14- and 15-years-old, are students at Gaithersburg's Quince Orchard High School and Rockville's Robert Frost Middle School, according to the report. The girls told police they were playing spin the bottle as a drinking game.
The girls were joined by an 18-year-old boy who was cited for underage alcohol possession and released.
One 14-year-old's BAC was recorded at 0.17, more than twice the legal limit. Two of the girls were not drinking, but received alcohol citations for constructive possession, which, according to the report, "means they were so close to the illegal activity, they clearly knew it was happening and could have easily been participating themselves."

Gee, when the new toilets are installed via MVF & State grant @ South Creek Park, the teens will be able to fill up on beer and 'empty their underage fuel tanks' (bladders) in the new facilities. Won't that be grand! Watkins Mill students won't have to hang out @ the Village Center anymore! Aren't the 'adults' sweet to provide them better 'party field'! Hummm!

Oops, they say 'what's in a name'. But, before I stand corrected for wrong name rather than point of comment, it is South Village Park.
