Gaithersburg Crime: Wells Fargo ATM, El Meson Armed Robberies and More

Montgomery County police released a crime summary for Jan. 14 through Jan. 22. The following incidents were reported in Gaithersburg:
- A residential burglary occurred in the hundred block of Travis Court on Tuesday, Jan. 15, between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Entry to the home was forced and property was taken.
- A theft occurred on Wednesday, Jan. 16, around 11:15 p.m. at Interstate Roofing, located at 8040 Queenair Drive. Property was taken from outside the location.
- An attempted armed robbery occurred at Brookes Avenue and Park Avenue on Wednesday, Jan. 16, around 9:30 p.m. The suspects threatened the victim with a weapon and were arrested.
- A theft from vehicle occurred in the parking lot of 516 North Frederick Avenue on Wednesday, Jan. 16, between 11 a.m. and 11:40 a.m. Entry to the vehicle is unknown and credit cards were taken.
- A commercial armed robbery occurred at the El Meson restaurant, located at 619 South Frederick Avenue, on Thursday, Jan. 17 around 8 p.m.
- A carjacking occurred in the 17000 block of King James Way on Friday, Jan. 18, just before 2:30 p.m. The suspects assaulted the victim and obtained the victim's vehicle, but were arrested shortly thereafter.
- An armed robbery occurred at the ATM machine outside the Wells Fargo Bank, located at 607 North Frederick Avenue, on Saturday, Jan. 19, around 8:45 p.m. The suspect threatened the victim with a weapon and was arrested.
- A residential burglary occurred in the 9000 block of Bramble Bush Court sometime on Saturday, Jan. 19. Entry to the home is unknown and it's not clear what was taken.
- A theft occurred at Royal Bonnet Circle and Odend Hal Avenue on Saturday, Jan. 19, around 12:45 a.m. The suspect forcefully removed property from the victim.
- A theft from vehicle occurred at 274 North Frederick Avenue on Saturday, Jan. 19, between 12:45 and 1 p.m. Entry to the vehicle was not forced and a phone was taken.
- A theft from vehicle occurred on Chestertown Street on Monday, Jan. 21, just before 5 a.m. Entry to the vehicle is unknown and nothing was taken.
- An attempted residential burglary occurred on Tuesday, Jan. 22, between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. in the 19900 block of Wheelwright Drive. Entry to the home was forced and nothing was taken.
