This morning, my husband and I were standing in line to vote fifteen minutes before voting began. Outside of the building, there were no people shoving signs in our faces and shouting at us to vote for this candidate or that. Not having to deal with those people was a huge relief. Inside, there was a long, long line. Everyone was in a good mood and most were chatting and joking. It was the best voting experience I have had in my many, many years of voting.

The Democrat funny business has started and a judge has been involved already in Philly where the New Black Panthers are back.

"Philly GOP: Poll inspectors being ousted for Dems.
Court-appointed Republican poll inspectors are being forcibly removed from voting stations in some Philadelphia wards and replaced in some cases by Democratic inspectors and even members of the Black Panthers, according to GOP officials.

Secrets just received this memo from GOP officials:

The Philadelphia GOP is reporting that court appointed Minority (read GOP) Inspectors are being thrown out of polling locations in several Wards.

These Inspectors are election officials - again, court appointed -- and are reportedly being thrown out by the Head Judges of Elections (these Judges are elected Democrats) and being replaced by Democrats.

This has happened at the following locations:
Ward 32, Div 13
Ward 43, Div 14
Ward 56, Div 1
Ward 56, Div 22
Ward 32, Div 28

Judge issuing order to reinstate booted Philadelphia election officials.
A Pennsylvania judge is issuing an order to reinstate Republican election officials across Philadelphia who allegedly were ejected or refused entry by on-site Democratic voting chief judges, GOP officials tell Fox News.

One Republican official claimed that "just under 70" Republican election officials were blocked from Philadelphia polling sites Tuesday morning by Democrats on site. One of them, the official claimed, "was shoved out of the polling place."

"For this many inspectors to be ejected from polling places is rare, even for Philadelphia," the official told FoxNews.com.

Republicans claim they are obtaining a series of court orders to seat the so-called election "inspectors," and sheriff's deputies will be available to escort them.

Despite the high number of officials who were allegedly booted, the dispute itself is not uncommon for Philadelphia. Fred Voigt, legal counsel for the city commissioners, said these kinds of face-offs happen "with regularity" in the City of Brotherly Love.

"It happens all the time," Voigt said. He said court-appointed Republican officials typically show up on Election Day and end up squaring off against stand-in officials at the polling sites filling in the open seats.

"There are no cool heads here," Voigt said.

Plagiarism is an accusation you should not use lightly. I never ever have claimed others writing as my own so your accusation is abhorrent!

And the Democrats again disenfranchise the Military!
"GOP senators: Thousands of ballots unlikely to reach military voters in time.
A group of Republican senators said Monday that thousands of voter ballots are unlikely to reach military service members until after Nov. 6.

One day ahead of the election, Sens. John Cornyn (R-Texas), Kelly Ayotte (R-N.H.), John McCain (R-Ariz.), Rob Portman (R-Ohio) and Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) sent a letter to Defense Secretary Leon Panetta to express their concern over delays in ballots reaching military voters overseas.

“We write to express concerns over another serious failure by the Department of Defense (DoD) to safeguard the voting rights of our overseas military service members, which we believe could result in the imminent disenfranchisement of thousands,” the letter stated.

Mail redirection in the military can take between 14 to 50 days, meaning a ballot could reach the voter possibly more than a month after ballots have to be mailed back in order to be counted. The Military Postal Service Agency (MPSA) identified problems with the system after the 2010 election, but hasn’t implemented changes."

"“DoD’s failure to fix this longstanding problem means that the blank ballots of thousands of overseas service members, as well as some who have recently returned from overseas, could be currently trapped in an archaic and inefficient mail forwarding system,” the senators wrote. “These ballots are unlikely to reach these service members until after Election Day has passed."

The senators advised Panetta to create a centralized mail redirection system and modernize military mail delivery.

“We are perplexed as to why DoD did not do everything in its power to modernize the system for redirecting blank ballots in order to eliminate this roadblock for military service members, per the top 2010 recommendations from MPSA,” the letter stated. “As we know you agree, they deserve to have a voice in choosing their elected leaders. Our men and women in uniform should be able to participate in the very same democratic system of government that they defend, not be relegated to mere spectator status because their ballot never reached them.”

The senators asked that a new mail system be in place by the next election, in 2014."

Now society has done it too. If one sees a person that has obviously "black" feature and skin tone, one will assume that this person is black. That is reality in our society, so this why Pres. Obama is considered Black. One day it would be nice is the world were colorblind.

I have always been surprised that they didn't require some kind of ID to vote, but that is the law. And really, the percentage of in person voter fraud is less than 1/1000 of 1% so I am not too worried about it. The majority of voter fraud occurs with absentee ballots.

ITIN's are NOT to be given to illegal aliens just because they are here. there are supposedly strict requirements.
"Who needs an ITIN?
IRS issues ITINs to foreign nationals and others who have federal tax reporting or filing requirements and do not qualify for SSNs. A non-resident alien individual not eligible for a SSN who is required to file a U.S. tax return only to claim a refund of tax under the provisions of a U.S. tax treaty needs an ITIN.

Other examples of individuals who need ITINs include:
• A nonresident alien required to file a U.S. tax return
• A U.S. resident alien (based on days present in the United States) filing a U.S. tax return
• A dependent or spouse of a U.S. citizen/resident alien
• A dependent or spouse of a nonresident alien visa holder"
"An ITIN does not authorize work in the U.S. or provide eligibility for Social Security benefits or the Earned Income Tax Credit."

One MUST have some immigration DOCUMENTATION to receive a ITIN.

"How do I apply for an ITIN?
Use the latest revision of Form W-7, Application for IRS Individual Taxpayer Identification Number to apply. Attach a valid federal income tax return, unless you qualify for an exception, and include your original, notarized, or certified proof of identity and foreign status documents.
Because you are filing your tax return as an attachment to your ITIN application, you should not mail your return to the address listed in the Form 1040, 1040A or 1040EZ instructions. Instead, send your return, Form W-7 and proof of identity and foreign status documents to:"

They are apparently given out disregarding the law as stated on the IRS website.

Many receiving ITIN's are using false forged or stolen documents for the application for the number. Look at the application ofr the documents required.

UN Election observers AMAZED that in America you do not need to show voter ID!

Foreign election officials amazed by trust-based U.S. voting system.
" "It's an incredible system," said Nuri K. Elabbar, who traveled to the United States along with election officials from more than 60 countries to observe today's presidential elections as part of a program run by the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES). Your humble Cable guy visited polling places with some of the international officials this morning. Most of them agreed that in their countries, such an open voting system simply would not work.

"It's very difficult to transfer this system as it is to any other country. This system is built according to trust and this trust needs a lot of procedures and a lot of education for other countries to adopt it," Elabbar said. "

Thanks Steve for posting that. It shows how many illegal aliens file taxes in order to get their child tax credits for children they have living in Mexico.
"IRS loophole for illegals’ children costs taxpayers billions"
"A two-part News 13 WTHR Indianapolis report uncovered a tax loophole involving undocumented workers that costs taxpayers over $4.2 billion a year. What’s worse is that the IRS has known about the problem for years.Undocumented workers have been taking advantage of a loophole called the Additional Child Tax Credit, a fully-refundable credit of up to $1,000 per child that was intended to help working families with children living at home. Not only are they claiming children within the U.S., they are also claiming children in Mexico."

The fraud is rampant and endorsed by the liberals in this country.

From Steve's link.
"In 2004, the IRS got 7.9 million W-2s with names that didn’t match a Social Security Number. More than half were from California, Texas, Florida and Illinois, states with large immigrant populations, leading experts to believe they likely represent the wages of illegal immigrants. Even immigrants who use ITINs to file taxes are forced to make up a Social Security Number when they get a job.

Critics like Dinerstein believe the process makes room for law violators, and in some cases, might endanger the country by allowing them to operate more freely.
That’s why people who are living here illegally rushed to get ITINS like they’re chocolate candy,” said Dinerstein. “It’s a national security issue.”

Got Fraud?

Not looking good for Gov. Romney. House stays Republican. Split government again.
Questions in Maryland not going well for many of us.
Just need to shake it off and keep working. Unfortunately, the markets will swiftly make decisions that will shake the country, and all of the things the administration have been hiding will come out. On a positive note, the downturn will be severe, but hopefully very quick - and we can start to dig out of this mess once we hit bottom. Although I don't understand how this can happen, we must still go back to the Bush administration. The damage he caused to the Republican brand will last for a very long time.
Personally can handle the President's antics, but 4 more years of Gibbs, Axelrod, and Cutter make me feel bad.
But, nothing to do but get some rest, regroup and get back to work. Still a great country. Can't let one administration, no matter how much you disagree with them - bring you down.

Obama time and again has suggested balancing the budget by using a 2.5 to 1 ratio of spending cuts to tax raises. Let's do it.

The reality is, the left wingers in Obama's own party are no more interested in balancing the budget the right way then the Tea Partiers on the right. In this sense, I find myself in agreement with the Pauls.

Our debt is a massive liability, and something that needs to be attacked from many directions and not in a half-assed manner. Increased revenue streams don't NEED to be all from taxation in the classic sense.

I'm just annoyed the Dream Act is going to pass. I'll never understand that one.
