The Gaithersburg City Council will submit a resolution to purchase property in the Olde Towne Business District in an effort to facilitate redevelopment during Monday night's 7:30 meeting at City Hall. The address is 309 South Frederick Ave.

The Council also will discuss:

• Change in use from Residential to Limited Commercial use for the property at 311 South Frederick Ave.
• Surplus land hearing: Consideration for Disposition of Property
  • Fitzgerald Auto Mall has expressed an interest in property owned by the city of Gaithersburg that is adjacent to its location. The address is 311 South Fredererick Ave.
• A presentation for the Proclamation of the Mayor and City Council designating July as "National Parks and Recreation Month" in Gaithersubrg.
