PHOTOS: Gaithersburg Softball Falls Short of States
The Gaithersburg High School Lady Trojans softball team was eliminated in the 4A West region finals, a game short of the state semifinals.
Gaithersburg High School's varsity softball team was eliminated by Magruder, 2-1, in the MPSSAA 4A West region final, falling one win short of a berth in the state semifinals.
The team graduates a group of six seniors:
- Ashlie DeCarlo - No. 8, Pitcher, Captain
- Johanna Deguzman - No. 10, Second Base
- Danielle Riley - No. 2, Shortstop, Captain
- Alyssa Henry - No. 21, Second Base, Left Field, Center Field
- Katie Stewart - No. 22, Right Field
- Gaby Pascacio - No. 23, Catcher
