After weeks of preparing to toss her hat into the ring, Paula Ross today officially announced she will run for City Council.
She spent the past few months talking with business owners, friends and community members before deciding to run, making sure she had the support to win, she said.
There was no specific thing that pushed her over the edge, she added.
She will be facing off against three incumbents—Jud Ashman, Cathy Drzyzgula and Ryan Spiegel—and Tom Rowse in the Nov. 8 elections.
