Holiday with the Shelter Dogs.
You can help the Montgomery County Humane Society volunteer dog walkers by making wish list (http://www.mchumane.org/WishList_000.shtml) donations through December 20 in anticipation of a special Holiday with the Shelter Dogs. Preferred items include new blankets, bones (not rawhide), toys, and anything else on the list -- you may add your donations to the decorated box in the shelter lobby or drop them off at the “Unleashed” pet stores located in Olney, Gaithersburg and Olney.
Volunteers will distribute the "holiday presents" to each dog in the shelter on December 22.

Montgomery County Animal Shelter
The Montgomery County Humane Society in Rockville, MD is a nonprofit animal welfare organization that has provided animal sheltering services to Montgomery County since 1958. MCHS receives funds to operate the Montgomery County Animal Shelter under a grant from the Montgomery County Government and from private donations.
The Humane Society is supported by private fundraising including United Way and other workplace giving campaigns.
