Paws in the Park Dog Walk & Fest: "Helping animals is a walk in the park"
Paws in the Park Dog Walk & Fest 2011 is one of the Washington DC area’s largest dog walks and we’ve moved to a new location! This year, we’re excited to partner with the City of Gaithersburg to bring you you an even better event at a larger location -- Bohrer Park in Gaithersburg.
Paws in the Park is fun for the entire family, featuring pet games, demos, a “flealess” market for pet-friendly vendors, food, music, prizes, raffles, rescue groups and more! Check out last year’s event. Great prizes are awarded to the top online fundraisers.
Benefitting Montgomery County Humane Society. REGISTRATION IS EASY: Click on the “Raise Money” button or “Join a Team” link. Select “Individual” or “Family.” EVENT ENTRANCE FEES: INDIVIDUAL $20 (one person); FAMILY (two or more related individuals) $35. Once you’ve registered and paid the entrance fee, help FUNdraise by creating a personalized fundraising webpage! ***PLEASE NOTE: If you are registering as a family, only one person needs to supply information.

More About Bohrer Park at Summit Hall Farm
Bohrer Park has a little something for everyone. In addition to trails, fields, ponds, playgrounds, pavilions, volleyball nets and a horseshoe pit, the park includes the Gaithersburg Activity Center. The activity center features mini-golf, a skate park and a water park. This is a great place to bring the family or a large group for a party or a relaxing afternoon spent poolside.
