News!!! Kentlands Whole Foods prepared to host Aliabaad Farm's CSA Shares

On Saturday March 1, 2014 from 11:00am to 3:00pm, Ali Mohadjer (owner and the Operator of Aliabaad Farm) will be at the Whole Foods supermarket in Gaithersburg, located at 316 Kentlands Blvd, Gaithersburg, MD. He will be available to talk about the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, Farm to Kitchen table benefits and crops that have been growing even during the cold weather! Swing by, grab a cup of coffee, walk around and talk to Ali about farming. Please take advantage of the real time dialogue while learning about the benefits of becoming a member of Aliabaad’s 2014 CSA program. While we welcome new CSA members, Aliabaad Farm also takes pride in our increased retention rate year after year.  Our members will receive a weekly email which will list the harvesting schedule. They will also enjoy selecting any or all of the items available during each harvesting week. There is no limit on the type of produce offered on the weekly basis; just organize your refrigerator and enjoy the fresh produce. “Most of our CSA members are from a younger generation, they value fresh nutrients in their daily diets and prefer to get their produce directly from our farm,” said Ali Mohadjer. Join Aliabaad Farms CSA program and you too can enjoy the taste of fresh produce.

Aliabaad Farm’s CSA program is like no other. Come by, visit us, and allow Ali the opportunity to share with you the details of our CSA program. He will be happy to tell you what comes with a membership, where drop off/pick up locations are, and answer any other questions that you may have. This year both our CSA members and our staff are grateful to Whole foods management as they have offered to be our area drop off location. One of our CSA members stated, "It is so comforting to not have to rush and cut a meeting short to make it to the farmers market or worry about missing the pickup time yet on your way home stop by at Whole Foods and pick up our own basket of the same day picked fresh produce.”

Note: In 2013 Aliabaad Farm was named Washington County Farm of the Year. Ali would love to explain why we became Farm of the Year and what his Farm visions for the future are.  “We take pride in offering farm fresh produce directly from the farm to our customer’s kitchen table” said Ali. Aliabaad produce can be purchased through CSA Memberships, Whole Foods, Mixed Greens, Yetka, and/or direct sale at our farms Visitor’s Center which will be open Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday starting in May of 2014

This is our first CSA experience and we are very happy with all the fresh and delicious vegetables. Our weekly bag full of vegetables and leaves is more than enough even for a family of vegetarians.
Thank you very much. ~Hilla

This is our first experience with a CSA and we couldn't be more happy! Such a great family to be a part of! We took our 7 month-old with us to visit the farm and got to see where all our produce and eggs come from. We’ve already recommended the farm/CSA program to a few friends (one of whom has signed-up!) thanks for all the hard work being done at Aliabaad farm!

I have been so impressed with the quality and quantity of the vegetables. I have required delivery to my home and their level of service to me has been truly outstanding. I am so happy with the entire service from Aliabaad Farm! Thank you for all, Joan
