I want to let everyone know that we are closely monitoring the young plants to make sure they have proper protection to fight Mother Nature with its early frost and constant change of temperatures. We will have more updates as we get closer to May. The good news is all of our Potatoes, Garlic, and one third of our Onions have been planted in the field.
We are focusing on our green houses and speeding up the transplants. All we need is few weeks of good weather to start harvesting.

As market demands and more people take part in our CSA program, we have made changes to better accommodate our CSA needs. Including the delivery day, Drop of/ (pick up) time, and location that we hope will help both you and us.
Delivery Day- This year our delivery day in Montgomery County will be on Wednesdays with hopefully an estimated start day of May 7th (weather permitting).

Location- We are happy to let you know that unlike last year we have made arrangements with Whole Foods in Kentlands (Gaithersburg), they will host the CSA Shares. This new arrangement will eliminate the difficulties we had with the use of Burger King Management parking lot and 30 minute limited drop of time.
Pickup/Drop off window-The Whole Foods store at Kentlands will provide us with a shelf space in their walking cooler and a 3 hour window for pick up. Shares will be available for pick up between the hours of 4:30 pm and 8:00 pm. This will hopefully overcome the problem with rushing from office/home, and /or worrying about the traffic situations and missing the pickup time. I will be present during the first day of Pickup to make sure everything runs smoothly and to answer any questions.
Baskets-This year we will provide you with your own baskets. Each CSA will have two basket with specific name tag. Please be sure to take your own basket and bring back the basket during the following week so we always have one to provide you with your weekly shares.
Deposit- There is a $30 deposit that we will collect for the baskets and will return to you at the end of the season.
