Valentine's Day Gift Idea!!

What could be better than farm fresh produce?!

While chocolate is always sweet and tasteful, what could be more heartwarming than giving those who you love so dearly the taste of Aliabaad Farm’s fresh produce? Have you checked out our CSA (Co-Ops) Program that includes our free range eggs? Did you know we were named Farm of the year in 2013? Did you know we have multiple drop-off locations within Montgomery County directly from our Farm? Can you imagine going to Whole Foods or Mixed Greens on your way home from the office and picking up same day harvested produce and vegetable boxes that are ready to go?

We are counting down the days and there are only 33 more days left (in one of the coldest ever winters in our area) before we can begin celebrating the arrival of spring 2014 (March 20) at Aliabaad Farm.  We are working hard and preparing the fields, both green houses, and we decorated our germination room with 1700 starter seeds (early crop: Broccoli, Cabbage, Candy Onion, Cauliflower, Celery, Lettuce, Kale, and Spinach).  This of course marks the beginning of our planting season as we hope to complete all of our early seeding during the week of February 17th as temperatures average 40+ degrees.  Come visit us during the last weekend of February in the Kentlands’ Whole Foods and let us tell you all about our CSA and fresh produce.
