John Rouse Joins McDaniel College as Director of Student Academic Support Services

McDaniel College announces John Rouse as director of Student Academic Support Services (SASS).

At McDaniel, he leads and oversees efforts to support students with disabilities. The SASS office is tasked with providing appropriate accommodations, services, programs and training in order to create an accessible community where people are judged on their ability, not their disability.

Rouse most recently served as acting co-director of the Office of Disability Services at Syracuse University where he started as a counselor in 2005. After graduating from McDaniel, he worked as a special education/learning disability teacher at the Chelsea School in Silver Spring, Md.
