Fourth of July Celebration

Celebrate Independence Day at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds with food, music and fireworks.

The city of Gaithersburg's Fourth of July celebration begins at 5 p.m. and live music starts at 7 with a lively two-hour concert featuring Back to Zero, a versatile band based out of Arlington, VA. 

In the case of inclement weather, fireworks only will be held on Thursday, July 5.

The following items are prohibited from the event: alcoholic beverages, glass containers, rollerblades, skates, bikes, pets, and fireworks of any kind.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat Comes to Arts Barn Theatre

Get your musical fix with Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

A family production with lyrics by Tim Rice and music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, the show runs June 8 through 24, 2012, with performances on Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. at the in the Kentlands.

Admission is $18, $16 for City residents, and $9 for students through grade 12.

Observatory, Museum Tours and Exhibits Available on Heritage Day

Join the city of Gaithersburg on Saturday, June 23 for Heritage Day and take the opporunity to tour the Gaithersburg Latitude Observatory and the Gaithersburg Community Museum.
