Kentlands hosted its 21st annual Oktoberfest Sunday in Gaithersburg.
The festival featured German entertainment, beer and new activities including horse-drawn wagon rides, pumpkin painting, and wine-tasting, according to the city. Festival goers tried out authentic Bavarian food and beer and performances by the Alte Kameraden German Band and Alt-Washingtonia Bavarian dancers.
