Located at the intersection of Route 355 and Watkins Mill Road, Gaithersburg's new Spectrum community is taking shape.

Mayor Sidney Katz and the City Council toured the construction site Monday evening. When complete, the development will feature over 600 apartments, restaurants and retail stores.

Planning Division Chief Lauren Pruss said no restaurants or retailers have been confirmed yet for the development.
