Winter Weather Advisory in Effect

Slick conditions could impact Tuesday morning commute.

Three days ago when the weather was in the low 70s, it may have been tempting to believe that Spring had arrived for good.

But as painful as it is to hear, the National Weather Service today issued a Winter Weather Warning for Montgomery County, from 9 p.m. tonight until 7 a.m. tomorrow.

A mix of frozen precipitation is expected to hit the area, with accumulations of 2 to 5 inches. Larger amounts are expected in the northern parts of Montgomery and Frederick Counties.

Isolated amounts of up to 6 inches are possible.
