Arts Barn Exhibit Features Kolam Quilts and Paintings, Glass Works and Mixed Media

The City of Gaithersburg presents “Celebrating the Kolam,” quilts and paintings by Lauren Kingsland and Shanthi Chandrasekar, “Nature’s Palettes” glass works by Christine Hekimian and a mixed media presentation, “Mouse Trapped,” by Marcia Wolf-Hubbard at the Arts Barn Gallery January 21 through March 20, 2011. 

The Arts Barn is located at 311 Kent Square Road in Gaithersburg.  Viewing hours are Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. An artists’ reception will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
