Gaithersburg, Maryland High School Artists To Have Work Featured at

FROM THE GREAT FRAME UP: "Artwork from some of the area’s most talented and creative students will be showcased April 20 – May 3, 2011 at The Great Frame Up in Muddy Branch Square.  The show will feature the work of the top 20 students from Quince Orchard High School.   This art exhibition is part of the national Creative Self-Expression Show contest, sponsored by The Great Frame Up.

On May 3, 2011 at 7:00p.m., The Great Frame up will host a special reception to celebrate the work of our city’s next generation of artists.  All entries will be judged on this evening, including a vote by the public for the most popular piece, with the winning piece moving on to the National Competition.  The community is invited to stop by The Great Frame Up to view the students’ work and cast their vote.

“Displaying the students’ art allows the community to see what these talented students have accomplished,” said Stephen Heinsinger, The Great Frame Up owner.  “The purpose of the Creative Self-Expression Show’s competition is to give students an outlet to create in whatever medium inspires them and the opportunity to have their work reviewed by professionals.”
