Grammy, CMA Award-Winner To Take Stage In Gaithersburg

Country and Bluegrass legend Ricky Skaggs partners with the Gaithersburg Book Festival to promote his new memoir.

Country and bluegrass music legend Ricky Skaggs is heading to Gaithersburg.

The Grammy and Country Music Award winner joins with the Gaithersburg Book Festival to promote his new memoir,  “Kentucky Traveler: My Life in Music.” 

From 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 14, at the Rosborough Cultural Arts Center, Skaggs will hold a discussion centered on the memoir, sign books, and possibly sing a few songs, according to a Gaithersburg Book Festival news release.

Tickets cost $30 for admission of one plus a copy of the book, $40 for admission of two and a copy of the book.
