Best of Gaithersburg Patch: Bagels

We kick off a new feature by asking you to rate Gaithersburg's best bagels.

Like coffee and eggs, bagels can be a morning staple that some people would be lost without.

Today we're debuting our new feature, "Best of Gaithersburg Patch," where we'll spotlight different places and things to do around town to find out what you love, like, and maybe don't care for so much.

So like the beginning of a good morning, we'll start with some breakfast. Tell us where the to get the best bagels in Gaithersburg!

If you’re a big fan of a particular place, pump them up by submitting, menus, photos or other multi-media.

Got a favorite not included in our poll? If it’s in Gaithersburg, write it in the comments below. If it’s not in Gaithersburg, look for it in a coming “Best Of” in its Patch town.

Click “Nearby” in the upper right corner of the site to view this week’s “Best Of” in a neighboring Patch town.

Over the coming weeks we’ll highlight other “Best Of Gaithersburg Patch” categories that highlight more local businesses and things to do. It’s an opportunity to learn more about our town while supporting local businesses and helping to keep Gaithersburg dollars in Gaithersburg. Besides, everyone loves a good debate about who offers the best this or where’s the best place for that.

Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be chosen based on poll results and reviews on Patch Places. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch.

Voting closes at 9 a.m. Friday.

The winner will be announced at noon Friday.

So tell us who has Rockville’s best barbecue. And write a comment below to tell us why.

Neal's Bagels has been turning out fresh made bagels for over 10 years. Neal and his wife are often behind the counter serving their customers. If you're there early the bagels are often still warm. Watch the back kitchen and throughout the day you can see dough being rolled by hand and dropped into vats of boiling water before they're baked.
