The city of Gaithersburg released the following news within the last week:

Experience Shakespeare in a Whole New Way With A Commedia Romeo and Juliet at Arts Barn

In partnership with Faction of Fools Theatre Company, the Arts Barn presents A Commedia Romeo and Juliet, based on William Shakespeare’s classic story of two young lovers divided by a family feud. The show runs Jan. 11 through Jan. 26, with evening performances on Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and matinees on Saturdays at 2 p.m. A sign interpreted performance will take place at the Jan. 26 matinee.  Admission is $22, $20 for city residents, and $9 for students through grade 12.

Experience market shopping indoors as you peruse bargains galore and amazing treasures at the Gaithersburg Indoor Flea Markets on Saturdays, Jan. 12 and March 23 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Enjoy shopping in the comfort and warmth of our new indoor location at the Montgomery County Agricultural Center, 16 Chestnut Street in Building 6. For easy access, use the Chestnut and Dalamar Street entrances.  Admission to the Flea Markets is free.
