Kentlands Chocolatier To Open Second Gaithersburg Location
Kentlands Chocolatier SPAGnVOLA will open a second Gaithersburg location in May.
It's about to get easier for chocoholics to get their fix in Gaithersburg.
Kentlands-based chocolatier SPAGnVOLA announced Monday it will open a second location at Lakeforest Mall.
The new store's opening is scheduled for early May, according to a news release.

“This expansion offers customers greater exposure to our brand, while allowing us to serve the community and expand our business organically,” Eric Reid, the CEO and Founder of SPAGnVOLA, said in a statement. “Our focus is to elevate the SPAGnVOLA brand to become Gaithersburg’s best chocolate. In doing so, we will bring our product and services to customers who don’t traditionally shop on the west side of Route 355, where our current boutique is located.”
Lakeforest Mall Marketing Director Susan Davis said the mall is "thrilled" to add SPAGnVOLA to its directory and Gaithersburg Mayor Sidney A. Katz applauded the chocolatier for its success.

“There are many stories of successful entrepreneurship in Gaithersburg, and we are delighted to add SPAGnVOLA Chocolatier to that list,” Katz said.
In addition to its new Lakeforest location, SPAGnVOLA is also reportedly considering a move into Bethesda.
