Report: Deli at Gaithersburg Food Lion Briefly Closed For Violation

The deli has since reopened after being closed for an issue with its hot and cold water, WUSA 9 reported.

A Gaithersburg grocery was forced to briefly close its deli following health code violations, WUSA 9 reported.

The deli at Food Lion, located at 883 Russell Avenue, had been operating out of compliance with running hot and cold water standards, according to Montgomery County food inspection data.

Hot water temperatures were recorded as low as 68 degrees by inspectors, according to the WUSA 9 report. Hot water is required for hand washing.
