Rescue dogs about to break out of prison!

Four dogs that are part of the Lost Dog Restorative Justice Prison Program will be up for adoption at Bark! Gaithersburg.

This Friday night and Saturday afternoon, four dogs that are part of Lost Dog Restorative Justice Prison Program will be up for adoption at Bark! Gaithersburg.

As rescue groups struggle to find foster homes for the constant influx of dogs needing to be saved, they are getting creative with ways to accomplish this goal. Lost Dog Restorative Justice Prison Program utilizes the prison system and appropriate inmates to serve as foster caregivers. This program is in conjuction with The Roxbury Correctional Institution (RCI) in Hagerstown, Maryland and is helping the inmates with the bond they gain by helping to care for and train rescues who might not otherwise escape the threat of euthanasia.

Come meet Popeye, Nelly, Sarge, and Remy and consider them to become part of your home! Learn more about how this program benefits rescues and prisoners and precise times of adoption events by visiting http://www.generationwags.com/pawsome-projects.
