Bus Transfer Station Near Asbury a Safety Concern

There were 32 calls for service in two months.

The bus transfer station at the corner of Odendhal Avenue and Lost Knife Road has been a hot-spot for crime in Gaithersburg, the Gazette reports.

In an article about an Asbury Methodist Village resident starting a program to map out the community, finding out the demographics and skills of residents, the paper reported that in April and May of this year there were 32 calls for service to the stop.

That averages one every other day.
