GHS football standout visited the College of William and Mary for a spring game.

During the weekend of April 15-17, Gaithersburg High School Senior Zack Fetters joined the College of William and Mary's other incoming class of football recruits for the Annual Green vs. Gold Spring Game and other activities.

Fetters and his fellow recruits attended informational meetings prior to the game and a post-game picnic with their family and friends.  The game itself featured some spirited and electrifying play on both sides of the ball, as the defending Colonial Athletic Association Champion Tribe appear poised for another very strong campaign.

Fetters started at quarterback and free safety and led the Trojans to an 11-2 record and the Maryland 4A West Region Championship this past season.  He earned All Met and All State honors at defensive back, and he signed with William and Mary on National Signing Day in February.
