What to do with the kids this weekend.

  • Basket Bingo @Mill Creek Towne Elementary School, Friday, April 8: Friday, March 11th is MCTES' annual Basket Bingo fundraiser, starting at 6:30pm.  This is a family event, so come on out with kids in tow for a fun night of bingo with lots of great prizes, dinner by Blue Ribbon BBQ, & snacks and drinks from the 5th grade. 6:30-9:00pm
  • , Friday, April 8 & Saturday, April 9: Ridgeview Middle School proudly presents the musical production of Alice in Wonderland Jr. - a fun-filled production with songs, great costumes, and talented student actors and singers. Friday, April 8th at 7:00pm & Saturday, April 9th at 1:00pm and 7:00pm. Tickets are $5.00 for Students and $8.00 for adults
  • , Friday April 8, 5:00-8:00pm: Wear your PJ's to Color Me Mine and your studio fee is FREE.
  • , Friday, April 8 through April 23: The Bunny is returning to Lakeforest on Friday, April 1st and will be available for hugs and photos through April 23rd at the Bunny’s Garden in Sears Court.
  • , Friday, April 8 & Saturday, April 9: Get rid of boxes of proprietary documents with free on site shredding by Office Paper Systems. Also giveaways, free food & drink, music and more. Family event, free.
  • , Friday – Sunday, April 8-10: Lovers of fine crafts and art will find more than 250 top artisans displaying and selling their unique creations in pottery, sculpture, glass, jewelry, fashion, home décor, furniture and home accessories, items for the garden, and photography. In addition to top national artists, the Festival will also introduce new and emerging artists showcasing the latest trends in handmade fashion and accessories, statement jewelry and fine art. Admission $9, children under 12 & Parking FREE
  • , Saturday, April 9: A community-based, fun-filled afternoon featuring: Giant Moonbounce for the kids, Live Music, Awesome Obstacle Course, Raffle give-aways, games, Free Popcorn, Free Hot dogs, Family Friendly Fun.
  • , Sunday, April 10: Come to Growlers of Gaithersburg will host a fundraising event on Sunday, April 10, with 10% of all restaurant proceeds between 7 and 10:30 p.m. being donated to Autism Speaks. Informational literature will be distributed with receipt holders. 
  • , Daily until April 18: Students are invited to send in a drawing for a t-shirt design contest sponsored by Washington Revels.  The winning design will go on the official SunFest 2011 t-shirt for the 2nd Annual Washington Revels SunFest.
