What to do with the kids this weekend.

  • , Thursday, March 24-Sunday, March 27: The circus is here, grab the family, grab the kids and head to the Verizon Center.
  • , Saturday, March 26: Family Day at the National Building Museum in DC from 10 am until 3:30 pm. Come see the cherry blossoms and enjoy interactive art demonstrations, activities and musical performances.  Decorate a miniature kite, learn about healthy food choices and discover Japanese art and design.
  • , Friday-Sunday, March 25-27: Northwest High School presents Hairspray; tickets are $10 adults and $8 students (at the door).

  • , Friday, March 25: 5:00-8:00pm. Wear your PJ's to Color Me Mine in the Kentland’s and your studio fee is FREE
  • ), Saturday, March 26: Customer appreciation day at Bruster's. Because they appreciate your business, visit them in your PJ's any time during PJ Day and you will get a free single scoop waffle cone. Promotion valid at Gaithersburg location only and one cone per person.

We hope that YOU and your family will all come out this spring for great activities in Annapolis and Southern Anne Arundel County.

Sponsored by the LAYC/Maryland Multicultural Youth Centers and the Montgomery County Department of Economic Development, the Youth Job Fair 2011 provides you with an opportunity to participate in on-site interviews and get information about jobs and career tracks in various industries and/or business
  • : Saturday, March 26: The Gaithersburg Police Department and NIST Police Department will take part in a Tip-A-Cop event to benefit Special Olympics Maryland (SOMD). Law enforcement officers and personnel will volunteer their time as “celebrity waiters” to collect tips. The fundraiser will take place Saturday, March 26, 2011 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 4 to 8 p.m. at the Lakeforest Red Robin at 701 Russell Avenue.

  • , Daily until April 18: Students are invited to send in a drawing for a t-shirt design contest sponsored by Washington Revels.  The winning design will go on the official SunFest 2011 t-shirt for the 2nd Annual Washington Revels SunFest.
