TRAFFIC ALERT: Perry Parkway and Lakeforest Boulevard
Night paving could disrupt traffic.
Gaithersburg Public Works crews will be smoothing out the bumpy ride on Perry Parkway and Lakeforest Boulevard with night paving and road reconstruction next week.
On Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 3 and 4, Perry Parkway from the traffic circle to MD 355 and Lakeforest Boulevard from MD 355 to Russell Avenue will be affected.
Ollie Mumpower, with the city's Department of Public Works, said the roads will not be closed during the work, so there won't be any detours.

The work is expected to last from 9 p.m. until 7 a.m. each night.
