Damascus Theatre Company Presents an Edgy Version of The Musical Cabaret. Take Your Seat at the Kit Kat Klub and Don’t Miss This One of a Kind Production!


DAMASCUS, MD –Damascus Theatre Company (DTC) is pleased to present the Tony award winning musicalCabaret. DTC’s version will be set in a cabaret-style atmosphere where cast members will interact intimately with the audience. The show runs from February 15-24, 2013 at Olney Theatre Center’s Mulitz-Guldelsky Theatre Labin Olney, Maryland. Performances will be February 15, 16, 21, 22, and 23 at 8pm, with matinee performances on February 16, 17, and 24 at 2 pm.


Cabaret is a classic Broadway musical introducing audience members to the dark and racy nightlife of the Kit Kat Klub, and follows the stories of a cabaret singer, a writer from America, and others as they deal with the changesof a pre-World War II Germany. The musical is adapted from the 1945 book “The Berlin Stories” by Christopher Isherwood. There have been several revivals and versions of this popular, avant garde musical.

Tickets for general admission are $20 for adults, Seniors/Students are $18. For tickets, visit the Cabaret showpage on the DTC website at www.damascustheatre.org. and click on “My Community Events.” Tickets can also bepurchased at the door. Payment at the door is cash or check only.
