Gaithersburg HS to Hold Latino Parent Conference

On March 26, Gaithersburg High School will hold their second annual Latino Parent Conference for parents of Gaithersburg High School, Forest Oak Middle School, Gaithersburg Middle School, Goshen Elementary School, Gaithersburg Elementary School, Rosemont Elementary School, Strawberry Knoll Elementary School, Washington Grove Elementary School, Laytonsville Elementary School, and Summit Hall Elementary School students.

The conference will be headlined by renowned local radio host and psychologist Dr. Claudia Campos, who will be the keynote speaker for the days events.

According to conference planners, the aim of the conference is for Latino parents to learn about available support opportunities for students, receive information about ways in which to support students at home and supports available in the community, and to build a sense of community with fellow parents and stakeholders.
