Girl Scout World Thinking Day & Sneaker Drive

Girl Scout Junior Troop 2756 is helping celebrate Girl Scouts’ 100th birthday by hosting WORLD THINKING DAY 2012 on March 17 from 2pm- 4pm @ Lake Marion Community Center.  This years theme is “We Can Save Our Planet” .  To help support this theme the Troop is holding a sneaker drive to collect sneakers for the NikeReUse-A-Shoe program. All parts of the sneakers will be recycled and used for various sports and recreational surfaces.  If you have some old sneakers in your closet and want to get rid of them, please stop by and donate them to this great event.
