The faces that are American faces continue to embrace the ideals and principles of honesty, truth, freedom, pursuit of happiness, freedom of religion, freedom to assemble, freedom of speech and the freedom to disagree with our government.

Families that can trace their heritage back to the Founding Fathers and those who have only recently become Americans all share a common bond. What ever our color, our lineage or our beliefs we enjoy our Freedom because of those who fought to defend our Country. Some fought on our shores and some fought and are fighting abroad.
The United States of America is not perfect and it is our hope that those who are elected Officials, Lawmakers, Judges, Human Rights Activists, Police Officers and each one of us, will shoulder the mantle of responsibility and speak out where ever there are injustices.

It is our deepest prayer that ordinary people will continue doing extraordinary things. Our Founding Fathers were visionaries who
dared to rise up against tyranny. Abraham Lincoln was a brave man who anguished over the division of our Country. The brave men and women who protested non-violently to bring about social change that would ensure everyone would have the same rights. Those who
continue to challenge rights that are afforded some and not others are ordinary people who are doing brave and extraordinary things.
There will always be challenges; great and small. It’s not the size of the
challenge that matters; rather, it’s our willingness to face those challenges despite our fears.
On this Independence Day, let us take a moment to reflect on how very fortunate we are to be Americans. Let us celebrate our diversity, let us encourage and respect free thought. For those who have much,much is expected. In the true tradition of America, let us always be willing to extend our hands and our hearts to those who struggle. Yes, these are very trying and difficult times; history is fraught with difficult times. We can and will get through these difficult economic times. As long as we have peace and compassion in our hearts, gratitude for our gifts, hope for tomorrow, and the courage of our convictions, we will not only survive, we will flourish. God Bless America.
