Robert W. Palmer, a retired orthopedic surgeon and Gaithersburg resident, died May 20 at the Montgomery Hospice’s Casey House in Rockville, according to The Washington Post.
Palmer practiced in Maryland for 28 years and became a partner at Shady Grove Orthopaedic Associates in Gaithersburg during the early 1980s, according to the report.
He is survived by his wife of seven years, Diane Bonanno Palmer of Gaithersburg; and five sons from his first marriage.
