News from the International Council of Shopping Centers Mid-Atlantic Conference has filtered out that Wawa, a convenience store/gas station chain, could be expanding into the DC area.
Wawa has a strong following of customers in Pennsylvania, where it's based, and equally strong competition from Sheetz, a similar chain of gas stations.
Often open 24-hours, the one-stop-shops both offer a surprisingly wide variety of made to order food that, from experience, isn't your typical gas station food.
Would you like to see a Wawa in this area? How about a Sheetz? How about both?
