UPDATE: Attempted Break-In At Rachel Carson Elementary
No entry was made, police report.
UPDATE: A school security guard saw the teens attempting to break into the school, Officer Dan Lane told Patch in an email.
"Because of the distance from where the security officer was and where the kids were, there is no further description of the two teenage males," Lane said.
A K-9 unit was called and tracked the teens to Quince Orchard Drive, but they were not apprehended.

ORIGINAL POST: Two teenage boys tried to break into around shortly after midnight, according to Gaithersburg Police.

The boys were seen trying to enter one of the portable classrooms, according to the Community Crime Summary posted on the City's website.
A call to Gaithersburg Police spokesman Officer Dan Lane was not immediately returned.
The school, at 100 Tschiffely Square Road, is in the Kentlands community.
