City Crime: Aggravated Assault, Commercial Burglary

The following incidents occurred in the City of Gaithersburg, according to the city's crime summary:

• A 38-year-old male was arrested and charged with aggravated assault following an incident in the 800 block of Quince Orchard Boulevard at 3:54 p.m. Tuesday, July 24. The suspect and victim were known to each other, and the victim was located and arrested at a nearby location. No additional information was available as of 10 a.m. Wednesday, Montgomery County police spokeswoman Angela Cruz told Patch.

• A commercial burglary was reported at the Subway located at 876 Muddy Branch Road on Monday, July 23 at 7:48 a.m. An unknown suspect(s) entered the business through the front door and removed property.
