Clarksburg Man Killed in Fatal Motorcycle Crash Friday

Kenneth Alan Burch, 53, pronounced dead at the scene in Damascus.

Montgomery County police are trying to determine what may have led to a fatal motorcycle crash Friday in Damascus, police said in a news release.

Police were called to the 9500 block of Hawkins Creamery Road at around 11:30 p.m. for reports of a crash.

Kenneth Alan Burch, 53, of Clarksburg, was riding a 2012 Harley Dynaglide Switchback. Police said it’s unclear what caused Burch to loose control at a curve, where the bike left the road and struck a pole.

Burch was thrown from the bike and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Police have asked anyone with information about this crash to call the Collision Reconstruction Unit at 240-773-6620. Callers may remain anonymous.
