Crime Summary: Armed Robbery, Graffiti and Residential Burglaries

The following arrest information was supplied by the Montgomery County Police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

P1 Beat:

  • No significant events.

 

P2 Beat:

  • A residential burglary occurred on Thursday 9/1 from the Motel 6, 497 Quince Orchard Road.  The incident occurred at an unknown time, unknown means between Monday 8/29 and Wednesday 8/31. 

 

R1 Beat:

  • No significant activity.

 

R2 Beat:

  • An aggravated assault occurred at the McDonalds, 9102 Rothbury Drive, on Thursday 9/1 around 8:20 p.m. and involved parties known to each other.  The suspect assaulted the victim then fled.
  • Graffiti was discovered on the dumpster and recycle bins of the Northgate Church, 20300 Pleasant Ridge Drive, on Wednesday 8/31. 

 

S1 Beat:

  • Four attempted thefts from vehicles occurred on Sunday 9/4, just after midnight in the parking garage of 8 Russell Avenue.  Forced entry; nothing taken.
  • An armed robbery occurred outside the Bank of America, 15930 Shady Grove Road, on Tuesday 9/6 around 2:35 p.m.  The adult male victim was assaulted and had property taken.

Suspect: 1/M 18-19 years, 6’1”, thin build, light blue jacket, white tee shirt

S2 Beat:

  • A residential burglary occurred in the 7200 block of Cypress Hill Drive on Tuesday 8/30 between 12 noon and 2 p.m.  No forced entry; property taken.

  • A residential burglary was reported in the 8200 block of Amity Drive on Thursday 9/1 between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m.  Forced entry; property taken.
  • A theft from vehicle occurred in the 18600 block of Cross Country Lane on Monday 9/5 between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m.  No forced entry; items taken include a camera, laptop, and cash inside.
