R1 Beat:

  • An attempted bank robbery occurred at the Wells Fargo branch located at 607 North Frederick Avenue, Gaithersburg on Thursday 10/6 at 1:48 pm.  The suspects demanded property but fled without obtaining any.

Suspect: 1/M 23-27 years, 5’11” to 6’1”, 210-220, unshaven
Suspect: 1/F 23-27 years, 5’6”, 190-200

  • An attempted sex assault occurred on Saturday 10/8 around 4:30 am in the 18700 block of Walkers Choice Road, Gaithersburg.  The suspect is known to the victim.
  • A residential burglary occurred in the 18400 block of Lost Knife Circle, Gaithersburg on Tuesday 10/11 between 8 pm and 9:30 pm.  No forced entry; property taken.

 

R2 Beat:

  • No significant activity.

 

S1 Beat:

  • A robbery occurred in the 8400 block of Emory Grove Road, Gaithersburg on Saturday 10/8 around 7:45 pm.  The victims were assaulted and property was taken.
  • A sexual assault occurred in the 500 block of South Frederick Avenue, Gaithersburg on Monday 10/3.  The suspect is known to the victim.

 

S2 Beat:

  • Two vehicle-related thefts occurred at Latonia Auto Service on Muncaster Mill Road, Gaithersburg where entry was forced, and a third vehicle on Woodfield was rummaged through.  Time frames for these events were not available.
  • Additional thefts from vehicles occurred on Emory Street, Wheat Fall Drive, and Epsilon Place all in Gaithersburg, had loose items stolen.  A vehicle parked at the Crabbs Branch Giant was also targeted during this reporting frame.  None of the vehicles required forced entry.
