Crime Summary: Indecent Exposure, Armed Robbery, Thefts from Vehicles

The following arrest information was supplied by the Montgomery County Police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

P1 Beat:

  • An armed robbery occurred on Muddy Branch Road in Gaithersburg at the 270 overpass on Thursday 2/23 around 10:45 p.m.  The suspects assaulted the victim and obtained property.

Suspect: W/M 20-30 years, 5’8”, 180, blond crew cut, white tee shirt, black pants

Suspect: B/M 20-30 years, 5’8”, 170, black sweater, black pants, knife

  • Three residential burglaries occurred in the area of the Rio in Gaithersburg during this reporting frame. 
    • Sat 2/25      8 pm to 9:50 pm       9900 block of Shelburne Terrace     
    • Mon 2/27                                      9800 block of Mahogany Drive        
    • Mon 2/27                                      9900 block of Shelburne Terrace    

Arrested: Male, age 37, of no fixed address

P2 Beat:

  • No significant events occurred during this period.

 

R1 Beat:

  • An aggravated assault occurred in the 19600 block of Framingham Drive in Gaithersburg on Sunday 2/26 around 2:30 a.m.  The suspects assaulted the victim, then fled.

Suspect: H/M 18-21 years, 5’7” to 5’8”, 200-250

Suspect: H/M 18-21 years, 5’10” to 5’11”, 160-170

  • An attempted residential burglary occurred on Wednesday 2/22 around 2:10 p.m. in the 19500 block of Ridge Heights Drive in Gaithersburg.  Attempted forced entry; nothing taken.

 

R2 Beat:

  • A strong-arm robbery occurred at the bus stop at Clubhouse Road and Montgomery Village Avenue in Montgomery Village on Thursday 2/23 just after 5 p.m.  The suspects assaulted the victim and removed property.

Suspect: B/M 14 years, 5’10” to 6’2”, shaved head, grey hoodie

Suspect: B/M 15 to 18 years, multi-colored button down shirt

  • A residential burglary occurred in the 9200 block of Chadburn Place in Montgomery Village on Monday 2/27 just before 2 a.m.  No further information is available at this time.
  • An indecent exposure occurred at the Dollar Tree store, 19214 Montgomery Village Avenue in Montgomery Village, on Tuesday 2/28 around 6:20 p.m.  The suspect exposed himself to the victim then fled.

Suspect: H/M, 5’6” to 5’10”, 130-165, short curly hair, a grey shirt with red vest, blue jeans

 

S1 Beat:

  • Six thefts from vehicles occurred along the Girard Street corridor and on Sunnybrook Terrace in Gaithersburg on consecutive evenings (2/22-2/24).  Four of the vehicles, on Rock Lodge Road, Sternwheeler Court, and Girard, were unlocked.  Small items such as iPods, cell phones, and cash were stolen.  Two vans on Sunnybrook had forced entry and power tools were taken. 

 

S2 Beat:

  • An attempted residential burglary occurred on Wednesday, 2/2 in the unit block of Ivoryton Court in Montgomery Village, between 8:45 am and 8:55 am.  Attempted forced entry; nothing taken.
  • A residential burglary occurred on Wednesday, 2/2 in the unit block of Ivoryton Court in Montgomery Village, between 8:55 am and 9:02 am.  Unforced entry; nothing taken.
  • A residential burglary occurred on Wednesday, 2/2 in the unit block of Stalvey Hill Court in Montgomery Village, between 9:45 am and 10:45 am.  No forced entry; property taken.    
  • A strong-arm robbery occurred in the 8300 block of McCullough Lane in Gaithersburg on Friday 2/24 around 5:30 a.m.  The suspect forcefully removed property from the victim.

 Suspect: B/M, black jacket

  •   A commercial burglary to a storage unit at U Store It, 8001 Snouffer School Road in Montgomery Village, was broken into sometime between Monday 2/20 and Tuesday 2/28.  Forced entry; property taken.
