Crime Summary: Man Brandishes Gun at Hospital, Flasher, and A String of Thefts From Vehicles

The following arrest information was supplied by the Montgomery County Police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

P1 Beat:

  • An aggravated assault occurred in the parking lot of Shady Grove Hospital, 9901 Medical Center Drive, on Monday 5/30 around 2:20 pm.  The suspect displayed a handgun and threatened the victim in the parking lot. 

Suspects:  (5) H/M’s, 30-35

  • A residential burglary occurred in the hundred block of Briarstone Lane, Gaithersburg on Monday 5/30 between 10 pm and 10:30 pm.  Forced entry; no property taken.

Arrested:  Male, age 29, no fixed address

  • An aggravated assault occurred in the 17100 block of Downing Street, Gaithersburg on Friday 6/3.  The suspect assaulted and threatened the victim.

Arrested:  Female, age 32, from Gaithersburg

P2 Beat:

  • An aggravated assault occurred at the Motel 6, 497 Quince Orchard Road, Gaithersburg, on Sunday 6/5 around 1:30 am.  Two suspects assaulted the victim.

Suspects:  (3) W/M’s, 18-20 years, 5’10” to 6’0”

  • A residential burglary occurred in the 500 block of Stonemason Drive, Gaithersburg on Sunday 6/5 between 3 and 4 p.m.  Unforced entry; property taken.

 

R1 Beat:

  • A residential burglary occurred in the 19500 block of Laguna Drive, Gaithersburg on Wednesday 6/1 between 9:30 pm and 9:45 pm.   Unforced entry; property taken. 

Suspect:  B/M, 16-20

  • An aggravated assault occurred in 400 block of Gallop Hill Road, Gaithersburg on Thursday 6/2.  Suspect assaulted victim.

Arrested:  Female, age 40, from Germantown

  • A residential burglary occurred in the 18000 block of Singing Pine Circle, Montgomery Village, on Sunday 6/5.  Unforced entry; property taken.

Suspect:  B/M, 40 years of age, 5’7”, 160 lbs.        

  • Seven of the eight thefts from vehicles occurred between Saturday 6/4 at 11:15 pm and Sunday 6/5 at 8:30 am.  Five of the seven vehicles were in the 18600 block of Chickadee Lane, Montgomery Village.  Forced entry in four events; three vehicles were unlocked.  Electronics and cash were taken. 

 

R2 Beat:

  • An armed robbery occurred near Montgomery Village Avenue and Club House Road on Saturday 6/4 around 1:40 am.  Suspect threatened victim with a weapon and obtained property. 

Suspect:  B/M, 5’8”, 150 lbs. with long dreadlocks

  • A residential burglary occurred in the 10300 block of Royal Woods Court, Gaithersburg between Friday 6/3 at 9:15 pm and Saturday 6/4 at 10:15 am.  Forced entry; property taken.
  • A residential burglary occurred in the 9500 block of Brink Road, Gaithersburg on Friday 6/3 between 9 am and 4 pm.  Forced entry; property taken.
  • An indecent exposure occurred in the 9400 block of Merust Lane, Gaithersburg on Thursday 6/2 around 6:25 pm.  Suspect exposed himself to victim. 

Suspect: Male, no further description

 

S1 Beat:

  • A residential burglary occurred in the 500 block of South Frederick Avenue, Gaithersburg on Friday 6/3 between 10:30 am and noon.  Unforced entry; property taken.
  • A homicide occurred in the 700 block of Raven Avenue on Tuesday 5/31 just after 7:30 pm.  Victim was discovered deceased in home.
  • A peeping tom occurred in the hundred block of North Summit Drive, Gaithersburg on Thursday 6/2 between 10:15 and 10:20 pm.  The suspect was looking into windows.

Suspect: H/M, 27 years, no fixed address

  • An attempted residential burglary occurred at in the 300 block of Saybrooke View Drive, Gaithersburg on Tuesday 6/7 at 11:40 am.  Attempted forced entry; no property taken.

Suspect: H/M or W/M, 5’8” to 5’9”, 150 lbs.
