Crime Summary: Residential Burglaries and an Armed Robbery

P1 Beat:

• A residential burglary occurred in the 100 block of Spring Street in Gaithersburg on Monday 8/1 between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.  No forced entry; property taken.

P2 Beat:

• A burglary occurred in 700 block of Quince Orchard Boulevard in Gaithersburg on Tuesday 8/2 around 11 a.m. 

Arrested: Male, age 18, of no fixed address

• An attempted burglary occurred in the 900 block of Clopper Road in Gaithersburg between Thursday 8/4 and Sunday 8/7.  Unknown entry, nothing taken.

• Two thefts from vehicle incidents involving unlocked vehicles occurred in the 100 block of Apple Blossom Way in Gaithersburg after midnight on Saturday 8/6.  Property was taken.

R1 Beat:

• An armed robbery occurred in the 18200 block of Lost Knife Circle in Montgomery Village on Sunday 8/7 around 12:10 pm.  The victim was threatened with a weapon and the suspect obtained property.

Suspect: B/M 20-29 years, 5’6” to 5’8”, 120-130, short hair, all black clothing

• An aggravated assault occurred in the 9700 block of Hellingly Place in Montgomery Village on Thursday 8/4.  The known suspect assaulted the victim.

• An aggravated assault occurred in the 18700 block of Nathans Place in Montgomery Village on Monday 8/1 around 2 p.m.  The suspect assaulted the victim, fired a weapon and was arrested.

Arrested: Male, age 29, from Germantown.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 9800 block of Hallowell Place in Montgomery Village on Monday 8/8 between 1 a.m. and 7 a.m.  No forced entry; property was taken.

• A burglary occurred in the 9800 block of Dockside Terrace in Montgomery Village on Sunday 8/7 sometime between 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m.  Forced entry; nothing was taken.

R2 Beat:

• A residential burglary occurred in the 9600 block of Shadow Oak Drive in Montgomery Village on Monday 8/8 around 5:30 p.m.  Unknown entry; property taken.

Arrested: Male, age 16, from Montgomery Village.

Arrested: Male, age 17, from Montgomery Village.

• An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 20300 block of Grazing Way in Montgomery Village on Sunday 8/7 just after 10 p.m.  Attempted entry; nothing taken.

S1 Beat:

• A residential burglary occurred in the 300 block of North Summit Avenue in Gaithersburg on Wednesday 8/3 between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m.  No forced entry; property taken.

S2 Beat:

• A residential burglary occurred in the 7800 block of Epsilon Drive in Derwood on Monday 8/8.  Forced entry; nothing taken.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 7800 block of Epsilon Drive in Derwood on Monday 8/8 around 10:20 p.m.  Forced entry; property taken.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 8300 block of Fairhaven Drive in Gaithersburg on Sunday 8/7 at 5:15 p.m.  No further.

• A theft occurred in the 8000 block of Cessna Avenue in Gaithersburg between Thursday 8/4 at 1:30 p.m. and Friday 8/5 at 4 a.m.
