Crime Summary: Robbery Arrest in Gaithersburg, Montgomery Village Salon Burgled

The following incidents were supplied by Montgomery County police for Gaithersburg and Montgomery Village. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

A strong-arm robbery was reported in the 15700 block of Mahogany Circle in Gaithersburg on Tuesday, Oct.  1 at 8:50 a.m. Police said the people involved knew each other. Arrested: Female, 38, from Gaithersburg

A residential burglary was reported in the 200 block of West Deer Park Road in Gaithersburg on Tuesday, Sept. 24, between 3:30 and 6:00 p.m. No forced entry; property taken.

A residential burglary was reported in the 15700 block of Mahogany Circle in Gaithersburg on Tuesday, Oct.  1 at 2:37 p.m. No further information is available at this time.

A commercial burglary was reported at DVA Architects, 400 Professional Drive in Gaithersburg on Sunday, Sept. 29, between 5:30 and 8:40 p.m. Forced entry; nothing taken.

An armed robbery was reported in the 9400 block of Horizon Run Road in Montgomery Village on Tuesday, Oct.  1 at 9:46 p.m. Two males threatened the victims with a weapon and obtained property.

Two vehicle thefts were reported; the incident occurred sometime between Saturday, Sept. 28 and Monday, Sept. 30 in the 18300 block of Lost Knife Circle in Montgomery Village.

A commercial burglary was reported at Shades of Elegance Hair Salon, 19122 Montgomery Village Avenue in Montgomery Village at 4 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 26. Forced entry; nothing taken.

A commercial burglary was reported at Patent Electronics, 7622 Rickenbacker Drive in Gaithersburg at 6:15 a.m. Tuesday, Oct.  1. Forced entry; nothing taken. 

A residential burglary was reported in the hundred block of Federal Court in Gaithersburg at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 30. Unknown entry; property taken. 

An attempted residential burglary was reported in the 18000 block of Driftwood Court in Gaithersburg at 10:15 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26.
