Crime Summary: Teen Arrested in Finish Line Robbery at Lakeforest

A residential burglary was reported in the 17100 block of Downing Street in Gaithersburg on Tuesday, Aug. 27, between 6 a.m. and 3:36 p.m.
An attempted burglary was reported in the hundred block of Mills Road in Gaithersburg on Thursday, Aug. 22 at 3 a.m. Attempted forced entry; nothing taken.
A sex assault was reported in the unit block of Autumn Hill Way in Gaithersburg on Tuesday, Aug. 20 at 12:37 p.m. The suspect inappropriately touched the victim. Police are looking for a white male, between 20 and 30 years old; police said he was wearing a black-and-white doo rag.

An aggravated assault was reported in the 700 block of Clopper Road in Gaithersburg on Monday, Aug. 26 at 3:37 a.m. The suspect is known to the victim. Arrested: Male, 47, from Aspen Hill
A residential burglary was reported in the 100 block of Kent Square Road in Gaithersburg, between 7 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20 and 7 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 22. Property was taken from a garage.

Two thefts from vehicles were reported on Saturday, Aug. 24 between 11 a.m. and 2:20 p.m. No forced entry in either incident. Cash, jewelry, a video game console and an iPad were reported missing. The Incidents were reported on West Diamond Avenue and Market Street in Gaithersburg.
An armed robbery was reported at Finish Line, in Lakeforest Mall in Gaithersburg on Wednesday, Aug. 21 at 2:15 p.m. The suspect threatened the victim with a weapon and obtained property. Arrested: Male, 16, from Gaithersburg.
A strong-arm robbery was reported in the parking lot of Sears at Lakeforest Mall in Gaithersburg on Tuesday, Aug. 20 at 2:40 a.m. The suspect was assaulted and property was taken. Police are looking four males.
A strong-armed robbery was reported in the 800 block of Gallup Hill Road in Gaithersburg on Thursday, Aug. 22 at 12:37 p.m. The suspects assaulted the victim and obtained property. Arrested: Male, 21, from Washington, DC; male, 21, from Germantown
An armed robbery was reported in the 400 block of North Frederick Avenue in Gaithersburg on Thursday, Aug. 22 at 5:06 a.m. Police said six males were involved.
A commercial burglary was reported at the Sky Communication kiosk at Lakeforest Mall in Gaithersburg on Sunday, Aug. 25 at 8:49 a.m. Forced entry; property taken.
A residential burglary was reported in the 18500 block of Boysenberry Drive in Montgomery Village at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 24. No forced entry; unknown what was taken.
An aggravated assault was reported in the 18900 block of Mills Choice Road in Montgomery Village on Friday, Aug. 23 at 5:40 p.m. Police said the people involved know each other.
There were six thefts from vehicles were reported in Montgomery Village: three between Sunday, Aug. 25 at 8 a.m. and Monday, Aug. 26 at 8 a.m. in the Delcris Drive and Spring Berry Court area of Montgomery Village, while the remainder were reported on different nights at different locations. Items taken ranged from a laptop to clothing and loose change.
A bank robbery was reported at TD bank, 15830 Shady Grove Road in Gaithersburg on Friday, Aug. 23 at 2:26 p.m. A press release was issued regarding this incident.
A residential burglary was reported in the 8600 block of Kelso Terrace in Gaithersburg on Tuesday, Aug. 27 between 6 a.m. and 9:03 p.m.
A residential burglary was reported on Monday, Aug. 19 between 4:50 a.m. and 8 p.m. in the 200 block of Park Avenue in Gaithersburg. No forced entry; property taken.
A residential burglary was reported on Thursday, Aug. 22 at 2:58 p.m. in the 200 block of Park Avenue in Gaithersburg. No forced entry; property taken. Arrested: Male, 18, from Gaithersburg .
An attempted residential burglary was reported in the 16500 block of South Westland Drive in Gaithersburg on Sunday, Aug. 25 at 4:53 a.m. No further information is available at this time.
Three thefts from vehicles were reported overnight between Sunday, Aug. 25 and Monday, Aug. 26 on Cinnabar Terrace and Kilcreggan Terrace in Gaithersburg. There were no signs of forced entry in these events; cash, coins and a GPS unit were taken.
