Crime Summary: Thefts of Vehicle Parts, Sex Assault

P1 Beat:

• A residential apartment burglary occurred in the 17100 block of Downing Street in Gaithersburg on Thursday, 12/8.  Suspects forced entry into the residence and removed property.

P2 Beat:

• A sex assault occurred in the 700 block of Quince Orchard Boulevard in Gaithersburg on Wednesday, 12/7 between 9:30 - 9:50 am.  The suspect assaulted the victim and removed property.

Suspect:   B/M 20-25 years, 5’11” to 6’2”, 150 to 160, short black hair, black hoodie

• An aggravated assault occurred at the Signature Salon & Day Spa, 284 North Frederick Avenue in Gaithersburg on Saturday, 12/10.  The victim was struck with a weapon.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 900 block of Beacon Square Court in Gaithersburg on Friday 12/9.  No forced entry; property taken.

R1 Beat:

• An attempted armed robbery occurred in the area of Odendhal Avenue and Russell Avenue in Gaithersburg on Saturday, 12/10.  The suspects threatened the victim with a weapon and attempted to obtain property.

Suspect:   H/M 5’6’ to 5’7”

Suspect:   H6/M 5’10” to 5’11”, grey hoodie

• A residential burglary occurred in the 18200 block of Fifeshire Drive in Montgomery Village between Tuesday, 12/6 and Thursday, 12/8.  No forced entry; property taken.

• An armed robbery occurred in the stairwell of the 18500 block of Boysenberry Drive in Gaithersburg on Tuesday, 12/13.  The suspect threatened the victims with a weapon and obtained property.

Suspect:   H/M 19-26 years, 5’7” to 6’0”, black hoodie, black fleece pants

R2 Beat:

• A theft of vehicle parts occurred on Lindos Court in Montgomery Village between Wednesday, 12/7 and Thursday, 12/8.  Suspects forced entry into the vehicle and removed vehicle parts.

• A theft of vehicle parts occurred on Halfpenny Place in Montgomery Village between Wednesday, 12/7 and Thursday, 12/8.  Suspects forced entry into the vehicle and removed vehicle parts.

• A theft of vehicle parts occurred on Highland Hall Road in Montgomery Village between Wednesday, 12/7 and Thursday, 12/8.  Suspects forced entry into the vehicle and removed vehicle parts.

S1 Beat:

• An aggravated assault occurred at the Cancun restaurant, 117 East Diamond Avenue in Gaithersburg on Saturday, 12/10.  The victim was struck with a weapon by the suspects.  No further information is available at this time.

• A theft of vehicle parts occurred in the 7500 block of Laytonia Drive in Gaithersburg between Wednesday, 12/7 and Thursday, 12/8.  Suspects forced entry into the vehicle and removed vehicle parts.
